the chase is on!

I'm back! After a much needed hiatus I am back.

Just a recap on what's been happening lately is this....

a whole lotta nuthin!

Did some traveling...if you could call it that. I just took some time off and did some road trips. Went to Arizona....good lord its hot out there! If my a/c didn't work, I would totally have killed myself. Or at least get fried in the car. But I had a nice Durango with a HEMI! Man, hemi's kick ass, I couldn't believe how bad ass it was at driving off.

On the way there, I experienced a chase, I saw all these cops with their lights flashing, now mind you its 3am and I'm pretty loaded, and so I'm freaking out. I dont know how fast I'm going, shoot, I could've been going 50 or 100, I wouldn't be able to tell. so anyhow, I begin to change lanes, well all of a sudden....WHOOSH!!! goes this ginormous raised truck barreling down the freeway, at that moment I check to see how fast I was going, I was doing 80, and the cops are in hot pursuit. There were 5 of them just gunnin for the kid, and damn, it was pretty awesome!About 10 mins later, more cops flew past us.

We caught up to them about 30 minutes later and the truck was all bashed up in the median and the cops all had their guns drawn and....well, I didnt see the rest, we were waved on through.

It looked gruesome but awesome at the same time.

i hate dumb ppl! this is all because some people like me to hold their hands while they take a crapper. you know what!? i'm done with this crap. screw this! im tired of all these retarded clients calling me up and wanting me to come over their freegin houses because they dont want to listen to my simple instructions, such as, 'please check and make sure all the plugs are securely plugged into their respective areas'. i mean, wtf! that doesnt take a genius to follow right? well, i thats what i thought, that is until a client of mine, who shall remain nameless, called me and yanked me out of bed at 4am stark raving mad and making me drive 1 hr to his house. 1 hr! 1 HR! WTF!? he didnt want to listen to me, he wanted me there right now. and like a schmuck, i went, and low and behold, the printer wasnt working because the usb plug to the printer wasnt securely fastened. if you looked at it, i tlooked right, but once you moved the printer, the cable fell off.

so the call was a 5 minute call which could have been avoided if he freegin listened to me. i hate these entertainment asswipes. seriously. i mean the money is ok, but dang, it aint worth it, if i have to do this crap again. it was a 2 hr drive! 2 HRS! for a 5 mintue problem?!

man, i can't wait till i become a shopper and product tester here, b/c dang, i cant take anymore of this tech support crap especially when it involves spoiled dumb people. how is it that they are allowed to breed?

argh!!! anyhow, that was basically my day. it started off horribly, tapered off during the day, slept at the office, and now im finishing off my shift with these final thoughts.

so we just got some of the new zd7000 for testing that we ordered, and i am hoping to be able to keep one. you can check out a review at epinions.

if it wasnt for being able to play with this laptop, i think i'd go crazy around here. we have been deluged with problems today and frankly, i am getting sick of it. hehe. really i am. i know this blog is supposed to be used for company news and updates, well i think i already did that.

so here goes some other things that have been on my mind. theres gotta be more to life than just working right? thats what i hear, but whats really going on? how do people do it? how do you put in 16 hour days almost 7 days a weel and still be able to have a social life? whats going on here? i was seeing a really great girl, but i dont think its working out because of all the time i spend at the office. sucks because i want to hang out with her, but at the same time i have other things to consider. what can i do?

i know that work isnt everything, but ive been doing this for so long that i dont know anything else. ive become socially inept when it comes to discussing things other than about work, technology, or philosophy, and frnakly not many people what to discuss that stuff. but whats a guy to do? it probably doesnt help that the majorty of my friends consist of techies which is cool but i know theres more out there.

so thats that. and on that note, i'm going to wrap things up around here, and hopefully get out before 9.

its so late, but most of the work is now done. this site needs to be updated with all of the links finalized and made to work. but we have been so busy around here that we have yet to get a real chance to do this.

i'd love to be able to say that tonight is my last 18 hr day, but it doesnt seem like it. too many projects, too many items to review and buy for our clients, too much of everything, and too little time! i love that its so busy around here, but thats definitely a double edged sword.

late nights, long days, tons of new toys!

handspring has released the new treo 600. This is the follow-up to their highly successful Treo smarthphone series. If you want an all-in-one solution, the Treo is the product to get. Currently though its only on the Sprint PCS network with Cingular, ATT and Verizon all jumping on the band wagon within the coming weeks.

this is going to be so cool. i can't wait to get my hands on it. i've had the other treos but this one definitely seems like it will take my breath away.
